Brita Heilimo – Ceramics from Arabia, was one of Finland’s leading ceramic artists in the 20th century. After her art studies at the Institute of Industrial Art in Helsinki, she worked for the Arabia factory for 10 years. She was a prominent designer of wall plaques with archaic relief motifs of animals. Brita’s artistry is represented at numerous museums in the Nordic countries.
