Handmade large dinner plate with the artist’s signature and unique painting technique.

Aptware started to make waves during the middle of the 18th century.
Named after the small town in Provence, France, the art form is inspired by the coloured soils in the region, which potters brought to life through mixed and marbleised faïence in pretty palettes.
The style – terre mêlée – simulates the natural marbling of stone by kneading coloured clays together and pressing them into enchanting forms.
